Seattle Pride Showcases Be You. Be Proud. Express Yourself!

It was a weekend filled with activities throughout Capitol Hill, Downtown, and the Seattle Center.  The Seattle Capitol Hill Pride Festival was an all-day Saturday event on Broadway, which invited local vendors to showcase their wares to tens of thousands of people.  Over 350,000 people converged into Downtown Seattle for the annual Seattle Pride Parade on Sunday.  Afterwards, tens of thousands converged at the fifth annual PrideFest at the Seattle Center for entertainment ranging from Kim English and more. 

Chicago Pride Parade Brings Over 3/4 Million Together

The 42nd annual Chicago Pride Parade brought out some 3/4 of a million people to show their pride around the world to this Midwest city event.   Halsted St. was filled with people, as the Parade was the highlight of the monthlong series of event in the Windy City.

LA Pride Brings Out Fun and Reflection

This year’s Los Angeles Pride produced a weekend of power, passion and purpose for hundreds of thousands of GLBT and their friends.  The grand marshal Johnny Weir, Morris Kight Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Margaret Cho, Person of the Year Award recipient Andy Cohen, and other led the 120+ float parade down Santa Monica Blvd. late Sunday morning and early afternoon to a weekend festival featuring acts including Estelle, Upright Cabaret, CeCe Peniston, America’s Got Talent’s Prince Poppycock, and many more.

Over 200,000 Expected for LA Pride

It’s LA Pride weekend as over 200,000 are expected to converge on the West Hollywood for a weekend of fun and solidarity of a movement that has transcended over four decades of a building community.  This year’s festival entertainment includes Prince Poppycock (from America’s Got Talent), Margaret Cho, Mya, Estelle, and many more.  For more information, visit http://www.lapride.org.  Happy Pride, Los Angeles!
